KATHMANDU: Seven individuals, including Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden, were arrested during a protest at Singha Durbar on Sunday.
The protest was led by Lingden’s team, which also included the party’s Youth Wing Chairman Kailash Katwal, who was detained by the police from inside Singha Durbar. In total, those arrested are RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden, Gyanendra Shahi, Buddhi man Tamang, Amar Pariyar, Saroj Ghimire, Kiran Duwal, and Kailash Katwal.
According to Apil Raj Bohara, the SP and spokesperson of the Kathmandu District Police Range, all those detained are currently being held at the District Police Range in Bhadrakali.
