KATHMANDU: The Nepali films Anjila and Outlaw: Section 219 are making waves at the domestic box office, pulling in die-hard fans nationwide. The producers have now released their collections, and the numbers say it all about their success.
According to the producer’s report, Anjila has earned a whopping Rs 2.7 crore in just 3 days after its release. Official reports however from the Ministry of Communications indicate that the movie has earned Rs 1.71 crore nationally in 5 days.
Though this, Outlaw: Section 219 also went on to prove even finer numbers. The producer declares an earning of Rs 2.03 crore within 4 days, while official box office collections reflect Rs 7.61 crore within mere 5 days. The two films are soaring high on public appreciation, with Outlaw: Section 219 taking the lead in box office collection.
