KATHMANDU: The Nepali cinema is all ready for a big fight as two action films Karma and Pitambar are releasing in the theatres on the same day, Chaitra 29. Both are action-drama-suspense genre films, creating gigantic curiosity among the viewers: Who will win?

Directed by Saurabh Chaudhary, Karma borrows the nod from powerhouse performance of Bipin Karki, one of the actors most known for his ability to slip into any role. It is said to be based on real events, and thus promises a new and exciting plot. Bipin’s action-oriented avatar and a big plot advantage Karma and render it one of the most anticipated movies.

In contrast, Pitambar, directed by Krisha Chaulagain, is loaded with star power. Starring Pradeep Khadka, Dayahang Rai, and Saugat Malla, backed by the likes of Pramod Agrahari and Sushma Pant, the film delivers a grandly visualized, larger-than-life cinematic experience.
