KATHMANDU: The last few years have witnessed a trend of top vocalists entering movie music, and the same trend is now being continued by John Rai. One of the most popular singers with a unique voice and massive followings on YouTube as well as Spotify, Jon is the latest name on this long list of successful singers trying their luck in films.
John has performed a song titled Situational Song for the highly anticipated film Jerry on Top, featuring Anmol KC. The song was recorded last month, confirms producer Saroj Nyaupane. The film now features five songs, with some of the biggest names in the music industry.
The film’s music visuals are highly invested, which also creates anticipation that Jerry on Top is going to deliver a fantastic soundtrack. Although two songs remain to be shot, the shooting of the film’s visuals has been completed last week and it has already crossed an estimated budget of 6 crores.
With contributions from great artists like Kali Prasad Baskota, Jayan Jay Wyva, SD Yogi, and Brijesh Shrestha, Jerry on Top is becoming a musical hit. Sujoy Gurung-directed film also features Anmol KC, Kedar Ghimire, and Anchal Sharma in key roles.
