KATHMANDU: South Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia is currently in the news due to her breakup with actor Vijay Varma. Recent reports suggest that Tamannaah initially wanted to keep the breakup private, but after actor Chiranjeevi’s request, she decided to make it public.
According to close family sources, Tamannaah had been thinking about marriage and had even discussed it with her parents. Both she and Vijay had agreed to tie the knot sometime between 2024 and 2025. However, Tamannaah clearly expressed to her father that Vijay was not fully committed to her, which made her father oppose their relationship.
When questioned by her father, Tamannaah decided she no longer wanted to marry Vijay. A close friend of hers told that the main reason for the breakup was their differing plans for the future. While Tamannaah was ready to settle down after marriage, Vijay was not prepared to make a long-term commitment.
The couple made their relationship public in 2023 during the promotion of Lust Stories 2, when they were seen together. Their growing closeness had been noticed earlier at a New Year’s party in Goa, sparking rumors about their relationship.
