KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Chancellor of Tribhuvan University, KP Sharma Oli, has approved the resignation of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Keshar Jung Baral.
According to Prime Minister’s Secretariat Oli has accepted the resignation of Vice Chancellor Baral on Thursday. Prof Baral was appointed the 20th Vice-Chancellor of Nepal’s oldest and largest University by the Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’-led government in February 2024.
His resignation was accepted today, two weeks after he submitted it. Minister for Education, Science and Technology Bidya Bhattarai was also requested to facilitate Baral’s return to the university.
