KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates applicable for Thursday. As per the central bank, the US dollar is being traded at NPR 138.41 for buying and NPR 139.01 for selling.
The Euro is being exchanged at NPR 153.29 for buying and NPR 153.95.for selling. The UK pound sterling stands at NPR 178.89 on the buying side and NPR179.67 on the selling side, while the Swiss franc is being bought at NPR 164.28 and sold at NPR 165.00..
For the Australian dollar, the rates are NPR 8 85.52 for buying and NPR 85.89 for selling. The Canadian dollar is valued at NPR 98.39 for buying and NPR 98.81 for selling, whereas the Singapore dollar is set at NPR 103.55 for buying and NPR 104.00 for selling.
Ten Japanese yen are worth NPR9.51 when buying and NPR 9.55 when selling. The Chinese yuan is being exchanged at NPR 18.88 for buying and NPR 18.96 for selling. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal is valued at NPR 36.87 for buying and NPR 37.03 for selling, and the Qatari riyal at NPR 37.97 and NPR 38.13, respectively.
In other rates, the Thai baht is being exchanged at NPR 4.60 for buying and NPR 4.08 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at NPR 37.68 for buying and NPR 37.85 for selling.
The Malaysian ringgit is valued at NPR 30.98 for buying and NPR 31.11 for selling. One hundred South Korean won are priced at NPR 9.51 for buying and NPR 9.55 for selling. The Swedish krona is set at NPR 13.96 and NPR 14.02 for buying and selling, while the Danish krone stands at NPR 20.53 and NPR 20.62, respectively.
Furthermore, the Hong Kong dollar is being traded at NPR 17.83 for buying and NPR 17.91 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at NPR 450.30 for buying and NPR 452.26 for selling, the Bahraini dinar at NPR 367.16 and NPR 368.76 and the Omani rial at NPR 359.52 and NPR 361.08.
Lastly, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
