Sanjeevani sang the title song of the Nepali film ‘Maitighar’ in Mumbai

KATHMADU: Famous Bollywood playback singer Sanjeevani has lent her voice to the title song of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Maitighar’. She will be heard in the new version of the classic song ‘Basant Nai Basna Khojcha Yahan…’ from the film of the same name. Earlier, the famous song had the voice of Asha Bhosle. The music will be by Jayadeva and the lyrics by Kiran Kharel. With the voice of Sanjeevini and the arrangement by Rikesh Gurung, the once famous song is about to get a new life.

Sanjeevani recorded the song at Niranjan Studio in Mumbai on Sunday. This is the comeback of the popular Indian singer, who has previously lent her voice to many Nepali songs. Sanjeevani said that if she gets good songs, she will also sing other Nepali songs. The film will include 4 songs including this one. It will also feature songs by SD Yogi, Alice Karki and Chandra Dong. The film, which will begin shooting from April 20, will be shot in Sailung, Kavre and Kathmandu. Directed by Milan Tamang, the film will feature Prakash Saput, Kedar Ghimire ‘Magne Budha’, Dheeraj Magar, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Shyamashree Sherpa, Shishir Bangdel, Buddhi Tamang, Santosh Shahi, and Maotse Gurung.
